Lecture Notes
The notes for this module have been written in DocBook, a document standard widely used in the publishing industry, especially in the field of IT. As an illustration of the power of XML, a number of pre-formatted versions of the notes are available, all generated from the same source document.
- DocBook XML source
- XHTML notes (in chapters, generated for WebCT)
- XHTML notes (in one single file)
- XHTML slides
- PDF Book
All files were generated using the <oXygen/> built-in transformation scenarios, with parameters suitably tweaked to suit the content. Further details of how to achieve this for your own documentation will be given in the course of the module.
