Map of Medicine comprises:

an online clinical knowledge base at specialist level
nationally accredited evidence-based care pathways
available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
370 nationally accredited pathways including NICE guidelines
7 broad areas of clinical practice:

1. accident and emergency
2. medicine
3. mental health
4. obstetrics and gynaecology
5. oncology and palliative care
6. paediatrics
7. surgery

Future planned enhancements for this nationally purchased information resource include the ability to customise to local pathways.
