Hi, I'm Alex Bennett – I’m a second year student currently studying Economics with International study and I'm really looking forward to studying at Montana State University in my third year. The University is up in the mountains next to Yellowstone National Park, so I'll be doing a lot of skiing and just can't wait. I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you guys and girls who really want to see what it's like to be in a university atmosphere. Some fun facts about me: an image of me is currently on the side of a bus promoting public transport in Brighton! Before heading to America’s West Coast, I'll be working for the International Olympic Committee at Park Lane this summer which is very exciting. |

Howdy! My name is Alex. I have just finished my final year of studying Geography with Environmental Management down at the University of Exeter's Cornwall Campus. I am devastated to be leaving as I have had such an awesome time down here in Falmouth and the campus is becoming far bigger and better once I'm gone. When I have gone I am hoping to go on to find employment for a year before travelling around the world again. Travelling is one of my favourite things to do so if any of you are looking to do a gap year, make sure you come and have a chat during the residential because I have loads of advice for you! When I am not travelling I like to spend my time juggling, learning guitar or generally exploring the Cornish coastline. Sportwise, I am pretty big into my ultimate frisbee because I am shocking at everything else! All the best and looking forward to seeing you all up in Exeter in July! |

Hi, my name’s Jenny and I am a first year Law student at the University of Exeter. I am a member of the Law netball team and secretary of the Amnesty International Society at university. I also enjoy attending the local Methodist Church and recently went to meet Prince Phillip to collect my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. The year 11 Summer School is a fantastic opportunity to explore what further education entails and find out if it’s right for you. I’m really looking forward to meeting you all and sharing my experiences as well as ensuring that you have a great time whilst you’re with us. See you soon! |

Hi I'm Ryck, I have just completed my 3rd and final year studying Geography with Environmental Management at the University of Exeter's Cornwall Campus. It's been a superb 3 years throughout which I have gained an awful lot although the ability to surf still eludes me. Outside of university I'm a keen member of several societies including GeogSoc (Corney name I know) and also marshalling and timing at various Motorsport events in the South West and Wales. After university I have a rotational graduate scheme from September which I am really looking forward to and will hopefully allow me to live in some other parts of the UK that I haven't experienced yet and eventually abroad. |

Hi, my name is Stephen and I’m just about to complete the first year of my four year Physics degree. This year has been fantastic, what with living independently for the first time, making amazing friends and finding my way around a new city- there have been a lot of things to cram in! When I was in my last year of secondary school, I had a vague idea in my head that I would be going to University, but only decided on a Physics degree at the end of Year 12, when everything just “clicked”, and I have not regretted it for a second! Hopefully your visit will help you find that same inspiring light-bulb moment! I enjoy getting outdoors and have been working towards my Gold D of E Award for a while now. I also enjoy mucking about with musical instruments and playing table tennis but I’m not very good at either! |

Hi, I’m Spike, a first year BA Politics student on a 3 year course. I was originally from London, but have lived in Exeter for several years. Living locally I could not have thought of a better place to study! We’re staying in a lovely area of the University and have all the completed building work… I was involved in programmes similar to this one when I was at ST. Luke’s in Exeter and then Exeter College. As a result of the programme, I believe I secured my ideal place as well as additional support. As a result, I’m glad you guys are taking the same opportunities. My spare time involves a lot of music with friends at the moment, which always seems to happen during festival season. Other than that I enjoy getting out and about, and obsessing myself in depth with current affairs. It’s going to be a fun week! |

I'm Kieran and I've just finished my second year of Law with European Study (Spanish). I've always loved debating and languages, so next year I'll be studying in Madrid, which is very exciting. At Exeter I've got into 'Mooting', which are mock court-trials, which might sound less exciting, but are actually excellent fun! During my 2 years at Exeter I've organised and attended events with the Latin American Society, which is one of many great student-run societies for meeting new people (and importantly for me, practising my Spanish!). I hope you enjoy your time in Exeter! |

Hey, I’m Ash from Essex. I’m just about to graduate from a three year BSc Exercise & Sport Science degree course. I've now decided to stay another year to do a Masters in International Management, I don't want to leave this great place yet. Exeter University is a top university, specifically St Luke's campus has been an amazing place to live and study on, but I'm excited to move on to Streatham campus next year. My passion is in sport, I'm the football first team goalkeeper, and ran the 2012 London Marathon which was one of the best experiences of my life, but definitely the hardest too! I love house music, so the boys in my corridor will be woken up to this every morning, sorry lads! I look forward to meeting you all and an enjoyable week!
